FACCE-JPI MACSUR feeding into COP26
Modelling European Agriculture with Climate Change for Food Security: the Science-Policy Knowledge Forum (MACSUR SciPol Pilot) will be present at the UN Climate Change Conference UK 2021 (COP 26).
The MACSUR SciPol is a pilot initiated by the Joint Programming Initiative for Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI) to bring science and policy actors together for the institutionalized responses to climate change adaptation and mitigation challenges in the agri-food sector in Europe. The pilot aims to provide evidence-based policy support for achieving carbon neutral agriculture in Europe. MACSUR SciPol pilot partners will represent in two side events at the COP 26.

The 26th United Nations’ Climate Change Conference (COP26) is hosted by the UK in Glasgow from October 31st to November 12th 2021. The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. FACCE-JPI’s MACSUR work continues to feed into the body of knowledge on Climate Change and this COP26.
