Traffic and parking

This also applies if you park in a spot for a specific target group, such as buses, disabled persons, or suppliers, even though you are not part of the target group. All WUR parking lots have parking spaces with charging stations for electric cars. Parking in these spots without charging the car is also not allowed.

Parking lots Wageningen Campus

Wageningen Campus has 7 large parking lots, 3 of which are owned by WUR (P1-P3). In the Unilever parking garage (P5), 230 parking spaces are available to WUR (see Wageningen Campus map). Visitors can only gain access to these parking spaces with a special code, which they will receive from their host, when the host has had spots reserved in the parking garage. Otherwise, follow P1, P2 and P3 to find a parking spot.

At the main parking lots you will find a map of the campus and signage to the various buildings. From the parking lots, it is a maximum 10-minute walk. The map is also at the entrances to the grounds and at the bus stops.

Parking at De Bongerd

Visitors to Sports Center De Bongerd can park at the sports center. The parking lot at swimming pool De Bongerd is for visitors to the pool only.

Traffic rules on Wageningen Campus

Wageningen Campus is a 30-km zone. This is indicated at all access roads for drivers (cars, cyclists, etc.) (30-kmu sign). In a 30-km zone, all intersections are equivalent. Intersections in which a particular mainstream has priority are designed as priority intersections. For example: the pedestrian crossings, where pedestrians have priority, and the intersections with Bornsesteeg, where cyclists have priority.

Over Wageningen Campus runs the bus lane, which is controlled by the municipality and province. Please note that the maximum speed allowed on the bus lane is 50 km/h and all traffic on the bus lane, such as scheduled and emergency services, have the right of way.
